There. I feel better. NOT!
Ever order something and get the wrong thing and have to send it back? And then have to deal with getting a credit for the payment for said item when the company you ordered it from is evidentially staffed by idiots?
Well, that's what happened to me. I ordered a cradle for a satellite radio for Frank's truck from http://americansatellite.com on the advice of someone at Sirius radio. It was the wrong cradle (I ordered the right one, but they sent the wrong one and don't even carry the one I needed and ordered). So I called them, and sent it back to the company. The girl I spoke to said that once she saw that it was on the way back, she would issue a credit for the item. That was on 8 July. Well, when I didn't get the credit by 15 July, I called them and found out that they couldn't find the UPS tracking number for the package.
I worked with them for two days, and they finally found out that since the warehouse that the package was being shipped back to moved between the time they sent the package to me and I sent it back, UPS had trouble finding them. Okay. So they got the tracking number and verified that it was returned, and I was told on 19 July that they would issue a credit the next morning and I would have it within 2-3 days.
Well, it's still not there as of today (25 July). So I called again - and was told that the person I spoke to last week never issued the darn credit and that she's no longer working there! So they're going to issue it again today and I should have it "within 2 to 3 days".
We'll see. In the meantime, do not do business with these people! They have no idea what they're doing!
